WHY STUDY EARTH SCIENCE?

"Nearly everything we do each day is connected in some way to Earth: to its land, oceans, atmosphere, plants and animals . . . only through Earth science education can students understand and appreciate our complex planet." -Association of American State Geologists, March 15, 2004.

ABOUT THE CLASS
You will be exploring scientific concepts by making observations, performing experiments, asking questions, brainstorming predictions, running investigations, evaluating the outcomes and communicating the results.
